The Head Spa Studio Policies

At The Head Spa Studio, we are dedicated to creating a calm, luxurious and seamless experience for every guest. To ensure all appointments run smoothly, please take a moment to familiarise yourself with our studio policies.

Appointment Deposits

A 40% deposit is required to secure all bookings. Deposits can be paid via card payment or by redeeming a valid gift card code at the time of booking.
Appointments are not confirmed until the required deposit has been received.

Consultation & Waiver Policy

Prior to your treatment commencing, all required consultation forms and waivers must be read, completed and signed.
These forms allow our team to ensure your treatment is suitable, safe and personalised to your individual needs.
If you choose not to complete the required consultation forms or waiver, unfortunately we will be unable to proceed with your treatment. Your appointment will be cancelled and your 40% deposit will be retained to cover the allocated appointment time and staff preparation.
We appreciate your understanding as these procedures are in place to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all guests at The Head Spa Studio.

Arrival Time

We kindly ask that all guests arrive a few minutes prior to their scheduled appointment time. This allows time for parking, checking in and preparing to fully enjoy your Head Spa experience.
Late arrivals may result in a reduced treatment time to ensure we respect the appointments of all guests scheduled throughout the day.
If you arrive late, your treatment will still finish at the originally scheduled completion time. Any time lost due to late arrival will be deducted from your treatment duration.
Treatments, add-ons or services originally booked cannot be removed, adjusted or discounted due to late arrival. The full amount of your scheduled booking will remain payable.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that circumstances can change; however, we require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for all cancellations or appointment changes.
Appointments cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled start time will result in the 40% deposit being forfeited.
Appointments may be rescheduled without losing your deposit when a minimum of 48 hours’ notice is provided.

Failure to Attend / No Shows

Failure to attend your appointment without notice will result in the full treatment amount being payable.
If a gift card has been provided and attached to your booking, the full treatment amount may be redeemed from the gift card.
Any outstanding amounts must be paid before any future appointments can be made at The Head Spa Studio.

Parking Information

Complimentary street parking is available in the surrounding streets near the studio.
Please allow additional travel time, as occasional roadworks, local events or city activities may affect parking availability.
All-day parking is available at Market Square, located behind the studio in front of St Mary’s High School — approximately a short two-minute walk.
The Head Spa Studio is conveniently located between Cold Rock and Samaras.

Pricing Policy

The Head Spa Studio reserves the right to adjust service pricing at any time due to increased operational costs, supplier increases, product costs or business requirements.
Pricing may be updated without prior notice. Current pricing at the time of booking or redemption will apply.

Gift Card Policy

We kindly ask all guests using a gift card to have their gift card and valid redemption code ready at the time of booking and upon arrival.
Gift cards are redeemed based on the original dollar value purchased and not the treatment listed. As our services and pricing may be updated from time to time, any difference between the gift card value and the selected treatment price will be payable at your appointment.
All valid gift cards will continue to be honoured for their original purchased value.
If a valid gift card code cannot be provided at the time of your appointment, the full treatment amount may be required to be paid.
Please ensure your gift card is valid prior to your visit.
Gift cards are treated like cash. The Head Spa Studio is not responsible for lost, stolen or misplaced gift cards, and we are unable to search for or retrieve missing gift card information without the required details.

Phone-Free Environment

To maintain our peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, The Head Spa Studio is a phone-free zone.
We kindly ask all guests to switch phones off or place devices on silent while inside the spa to respect the experience of others.
Children Within The Studio
To preserve the tranquility of our space and ensure every guest receives a deeply relaxing experience, we are unable to accommodate children within The Head Spa Studio.
We sincerely appreciate your understanding and support in helping us maintain a calm and luxurious environment for all guests.

Infectious Conditions & Health Policy

At The Head Spa Studio, the health, safety and wellbeing of our guests and therapists is our highest priority.
If you are experiencing any contagious or infectious condition, illness, scalp concern or any condition that may place our team or other guests at risk, we kindly ask that you contact us prior to your appointment to discuss your booking.
Upon arrival, if your therapist identifies a condition that may be contagious or unsafe to proceed with, The Head Spa Studio reserves the right to decline or postpone your scheduled treatment.
If your appointment cannot proceed due to an infectious or contagious condition that was present upon arrival, your 40% deposit will be forfeited to cover the allocated appointment time, preparation and therapist availability.
This policy is in place to maintain the highest hygiene standards and to protect the health, safety and comfort of all guests and therapists within The Head Spa Studio.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and relaxing environment for everyone.
